Lightning striking inside the sea beside Jounieh. Charbel, a 13-year-old boy was killed in a car accident in north Lebanon after the car of his father Marwan Youssef slid due to an overnight storm. The rainstorm also washed out a road in Maamelten in Jounieh, while heavy rains in the northern region of Akkar flooded several roads and shops nearby. (Joseph Barrak)
