Protests has swept downtown Beirut, and other region, in demand of the normal basic rights that people need to have.

but with everything going through, the battle is still at its first step towards having a country that respect the people and their demands.

That ain’t right: Clone of a dinosaur 

Several news websites, along with the power of social media tools, mainly with twitter and facebook, shared and republished a story claiming that a British university had made a clone of a dinosaur.

The story which occurred, according to the shared story, inside the Veterinary Medicine of Liverpool’s John Moore University, has been reported by a spokesman whose name was never mentioned in the published story.

In fact, inside the shared article, there was a mention of a dr. Gerrard Jones, biology professor at LJMU and the project’s leading scientist, in addition to dr. Gemma Sheridan, a LJMU chemistry professor, and also the name of PETA President Craig Farmer.

International POW 25March-1ِApril

I this week’s POW, there is a different taste of images from what was published in previous posts. Maybe you can notice it, but this post in particular was tending to more show emotion of people, or from what the whole environment of the photo might give to everyone taking a look at it.

This post will start from Greece, then it will go to Ukraine, and the metro catastrophe in the US, all the way to the middle east and ending with a photo from Brazil.

One thing to notice, this week the whole world was witnessing the “Earth Hour” event, which is a worldwide event held towards the end of March annually, encouraging households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change.

Lebanon POW 20 -26March

After almost a year without a government, Lebanon gave it voice, through the members of the parliament, to the new prime minister Tammam Salam. but outside the parliament, a crime has been made by one of the MP, when it ran over a pigeon that usually fly over the parliament building and the parliament’s square.

And in other news, that pigeon wasn’t the only thing that has been killed by “politics”, clashes erupted in Tripoli and in Beirut.

International POW 18 – 24 March

One of the good things maybe that happened this week was the closure of the Malaysian Case, about the missing  MH370 flight, which investigators said that it crashed into Indian Ocean, closing an open wound.

And in other news, this week witnessed the star of spring season, which people always look forward to it, especially with celebrations that comes with it such as the Indian Huranga, and the Kurdish Newroz.
